Marlijn Academie is based on the vision and strength of the work providers, which results in tailor-made learning programs and thus gets the best of both worlds. Marlijn Academy is an unfunded recognized educational institution. Together with the learner and customer, they create a tailor-made practical vocational training (BBL) and third learning path (OVO) MBO courses.
During this full day visit you will be part of:
- introduction & presentation on Marlijn Academie
- practice educator plus programme
- how do they arrange assessments within adult education- quality assurance
- what does a candidate need to show to get a job in a company
- City of Learning platform Praktijkleren Loont
- presentation Vibe Netherlands
- City of Learning platform Vibe
After the good practices, you will practise:
- registration of your organisation
- create an activity on the City of Learning platform
- creation of open badges
- assessments
This visit is part of the study visit Good practices of validation and recognition of 21st century skills for adult education programmes. Participants of this visit can earn an open badge by participating in and reflecting on this visit.

This badge is a reflection tool for the visit at Marlijn Academie. This visit is part of the study visit Good practices of validation and recognition of 21st century skills for adult education programmes.
The holder of the badge will have worked either on their own or in a small group to reflect on the questions:

- what has been learned;
- how to use this in your work;
- how else to use it (think about e.g. benefit for society).
The questions are designed to optimise generative learning: they are not just about what the participant has learnt but also how they can use the learning in their work and personal life.
This badge has been issued by a facilitator of the study visit.
